Step 1
Get lots of sunshine!Get lots of sunlight: If you get lots of sunlight your body will more or likely stay awake. Even if it's not natural sunlight, surround yourself with bright lights, it will make you more alert.
-
Step 2

Also another tip that works is staying cold. Yes, you read right, staying cold! Try taking off your sweater or turning the fan on to add a bit of coldness. Try drinking a glass of ice cold water, it will keep you awake and alert do to bathroom breaks.
-
Step 3
Don't get to full!Avoid Getting Full: For most people, after they get a full stomach, they tend to fall asleep. This goes for people at work too! Don't overdue it by eating until you can't move, save that for at home.

Step 4
Stay activeBe Physical when able: Every 20-30 minutes get up to stretch or walk around. If you work at a computer desk, you can even do exercises to keep you awake. Avoid sitting for long periods of time.

Step 5
Take a nap: While you won't be able to take a nap while you're working, use your break/lunch time to nap. Taking a power nap while surely give you a big boost of energy.

Step 6
Turn up the beat!Listen to Music: If allowed, keep your Ipod or CD player handy so you can listen to tunes. Try to listen to tunes that energize you instead of putting you to sleep. Use headphones to avoid disturbing other co-workers.
