If you look good when you are exercising, you will be more motivated to do it. Think about it. If you just put on a pair of sweats, shorts or an over grown tee-shirt, you will feel frumpy. Frumpiness is not a motivational tool.
Yet, if you put some effort into your wardrobe making sure it is not only comfortable but something that appeals to you, you will feel better and possibly have more motivation to actually exercise.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lycra shorts Lycra pants Tee shirts Sports Bra Flip flops

    Start with the basics.

  1. Step 1

Start with the basics. Find a few pairs of comfortable high quality Lycra shorts and pants. Yes, these are form fitting. They will fit you neat around your butt. But they will also make your butt look good and sexy. (Take a look in the mirror and see for yourself).

  2. Step 2

Add some color to your wardrobe. Sure the navy blues, the grays and the blacks are the perfect color choices for our shorts and our pants. But when it comes to our tee-shirts, don't be afraid to add some color once in a while, especially some warm pinks and possibly even some pale yellows.

  3. Step 3

Don't reveal too much. Those short shorts are not sexy when you are stretching and every little bit of skin (and possibly fat) is showing.

  4. Step 4

Wear a sports bra to hold things in place. These will not only make you look good, they will help you to concentrate on your positions instead of whether you are going to bounce or not.

  5. Step 5

Think short socks that reaches to just the rim of your sneakers. If you go any higher with your socks you are apt to cause your ankles and legs to look chunkier than they really are.

  6. Step 6

Don't forget to buy a simple, yet cute bag to carry everything. Make sure it is small and always promptly remove those dirty clothes from it to keep it from smelling.

  7. Step 7

Keep your hairstyle and makeup simple. If you have longish hair, pull it back with a simple pony tail and keep makeup to a minimum (concealer, mascara, a tad bit of blush).

  8. Step 8

Protect your feet by wearing flip flops or some such sandals in those showers. This will help you avoid catching athletes foot.
