If you owe a debt then you might get collection calls where they threaten you to pay or else. The truth is there are laws to protect you against these harassing phone calls and letters so make sure that you learn some of the tricks to keep the creditors off your back once and for all.

    First if the calls that you are getting are threatening in any way then call your states protection agency and report the creditor.

  2. Step 2
     

    Next you may want to send them a letter that tells them to stop the calls or you are going to report them to many state agencies and the BBB. This usually will do the trick so they stop calling and harassing you.

  3. Step 3

    Finally make the arrangements you need to to get this debt paid off don't wait until they start to harass you.
