Things You'll Need:

- Trim tool

Step 1
Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Take out the screw on the door handle, and slide the handle forward to access the control wires. Unplug the wires and take the handle off the door of the Tacoma.

Remove the entire door panel, including the speakers. Work your way around the outside of the door as you take out the screws.

Take the clips out around the entire door using your door trim panel tool. Pull the door panel from the door.

Step 5
Disconnect the power mirror cord from the connection in the door panel of the Tacoma.

Step 6
Loosen the screws holding the mirror in place, and remove the old mirror.

Step 1
Put the new mirror into place, and tighten the screws to attach the mirror to the door panel.

Step 2
Re-connect the power mirror cord to the cord on the door panel.

Step 3
Install the mirror cover using the same screws removed.

Step 4
Attach the door panel using the clips first, then tighten all screws and install the screw caps in the reverse order on the Tacoma. Attach the door handle last.

Step 5
Connect the battery, and try your power mirror to make sure it works.
