Things You'll Need:
- Apples
- Cinnamon
- Slenda Brown sugar blend
- Blender or food processer
-
Step 1
Peel and core applesPeel and core apples into quarters. The more apples you peel the more sauce you will make.
-
Step 2
Slice applesSlice apple quarters thin. Thinner slices will cook faster.
-
Step 3
Add cinnamonPlace apple slices into a large pot with lid. Add just a little water so apples don't burn. There will be plenty of water from the apples as they cook. Add some cinnamon. Cover and cook over a medium heat.
-
Step 4
Cooked applesStir frequently until apples look like they have a saucy appearance or when poked with a fork they are tender. Remove from heat. Cool.
-
Step 5
Smooth cinnamon apple sauceWhen apples are cool place them in a food processor or blender if smooth apple sauce is desired. Add Splenda brown sugar blend. If you prefer chunky, then just add the Splenda brown sugar blend. Apple sauce can easily be stored in your freezer for up to one year.
