Step 1
Joining Twitter is the first step.
Head on over to: http://twitter.com and sign up. -
Step 2
Once you sign up:
Follow me: http://twitter.com/powersellingmom and I will be proud to be the first one you're following. Send me a message through the system and let me know you found me through this article.
You will now be on your way to building your business by using twitter. -
Step 3
Search for people of the same area of business as you.
This is easy to do. Simply go to the "Search" bar located at the bottom of all twitter pages. Or follow this link:
http://search.twitter.com/
In this search box, type in a few key words to your area of business.
Example: I would type in: EBAY.
Then I would be able to view the list of all those involved with eBay and follow them.
Most people generally follow you back in return and you will be able to continue to grow your followers. -
Step 4
Time to be a "Twit" and post a few bits of news, links info. whatever you desire.
Start the day with a Good Morning.
Type a note about lunch or an appointment you may have.
Share a bit of your "Private World" with those following you.
Then you can share business links and proposals.
Share your blog, websites and friends.
