Make an Omelette That is Healthy

An omelette is a great idea for your family to have an enjoyable, healthy breakfast. Here are some simple instructions to making an omelette.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2-3 brown eggs
  • salt and black pepper
  • scallions (green onions)
  • Regular onion
  • 1 chopped red,yellow, green,orange bell bepper,
  • cherry tomatoes or chopped whole tomatoes
  • parsley
  • non-stick skillet
  1. Step 1

    Whisk brown eggs in a bowl. Add pinch of salt and black pepper. Add 1/4 cup of milk or cream. Set that aside.

  2. Step 2

    Chop up scallions, onions, red, green, orange or yellow peppers in small pieces. Set aside in a bowl.

  3. Step 3

    Add oil or butter to a non stick skillet, sauté all of the vegetables for 3 minutes on low to medium heat. Spread them out throughout the skillet. then add whisked eggs, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and parsley.

  4. Step 4

    Then add the egg Mixture and sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Step 5

    Allow to cook until the eggs are slightly golden brown, then you can either flip or fold the eggs in half and cook for a few more minutes. Serve the omelette with whole grain or whole wheat toast.
