Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Gifts for the fairies
  • Cider
  • Soda
  • Cookies
  1. Step 1

Find out everything you can about Mabon. It is not as big a pagan holiday as some are. There is a lot of information on it out there in new age books.

  2. Step 2

Enjoy the time with your family. It can be nice for children to play and have fun with this. Children love the idea of fairies and they can then give them something such as a cookie. It should be good food that you give them placed out nicely. If you are pagans and want a larger celebration you can do that.

  3. Step 3

Giving the fairies something or paying attention to them is also a good way to see them. If you already see them so much the better.

  4. Step 4

You can decorate if you would like. Use fall decorations with the changing of the seasons in mind. Mabon is also known as the Autumn or Fall Equinox.

  5. Step 5

Think about what Mabon means in regards to the seasonal changes and your life. Because Mabon is the time when light and dark are equal in the day after it has passed the light will start coming back. The celebration honors nature and your part in it.
