Things You'll Need:
- 2 tablespoons of dried fragrant rose petals (such as David Austin’s “Mary Rose” or “Abraham D'Arby”)
- ½ cup of cornstarch (arrowroot can be used)
- 2 tablespoons white cosmetic clay
- 8 drops of pure lavender essential oil
- 5 drops of pure rose or palmrosa essential oil
- 1 drop pure ylang ylang essential oil
-
Step 1
In a clean coffee grinder or food processor, grind the rose petals to a powder.
-
Step 2
Thoroughly mix the rose powder with the cornstarch and clay.
-
Step 3
Add the oil drops one at a time, mixing thoroughly with your fingers after each addition.
-
Step 4
Place powder in a tightly covered container and allow to sit for 2 to 4 days so that the oils can fully permeate the powder.
