Things You'll Need:
- carburater choke cleaner, water, mild detergent, sae 30w oil, phillip head screw driver, 3/8, and 1/2 socket and rachet

Step 1
remove the carburater and fuel tank in one piece by removing the 1/2 bolt going into the engine on top of the fuel tank, and the 3/8 bolt connecting the fuel tank to the front bracket of the engine

Step 2
next remove the 5 phillips head screws holding the carburater to the fuel tank being careful not to damage the diaphram located between them take the carburater choke cleaner and inject the fluid into all opening's making sure it comes out of an alternate opening if not then it may not be an opening just a closed port, after cleaning replace carburater back on fuel tank making sure not to forget to put the diaphram back on

Step 3
to clean foam air filters simply coat the soiled areas with mild detergent such as dish liquid or laundry detergent(use grease figter) rub areas with hand using water till soiled area is cleaned to best of ability rinse all soap from filter and air dry once dry place small amount of oil on bottom of sponge(use quarter size amounts till thin layer is all over sponge) put filter back in housing and back on mower
