Things You'll Need:
- Feather pillow.
- New ticking
- Scissors
- Thread & needle
- Sewing machine

Step 1
Cut open seamCut and make a new pillow casing, the size as the old casing; a little longer allowing for seam allowance. Shake the feathers down as far as you can to one end of the pillow.
Cut open the seam on the end without the feathers. -
Step 2
Feather PillowBaste the 2 open ends together. Leaving the ends open.( Like making a long body pillow.
Now shake all the feathers down into the new ticking. Take out the basteing. Sew up the end on the new ticking. There!! You have a clean new ticking. -
Step 3
Take the pillow outside and hang it in a nice breezy sunny area. Now the feathers will smell nice and fresh, too.
