We all want to lose weight occasionally. This quick article will give you THREE EASY IDEAS to lose weight. If you give yourself TWO WEEKS with these tips you will lose weight!

  1. Step 1
     

    PORTION SIZE

    Don't worry so much about what you eat. Instead think about how much you eat. A perfect rule of thumb is to use the size of your hand as your guide. Make a fist and look at how big it is....specifically the circumference. When you eat proteins like beef, chicken and fish make your portion about the size of your fist. Complete the meal with salad, vegetables and fruit.

    ONE FORK AT A TIME

    You've heard all of the good ideas about how to eat. Take your time...right? Here's an easy way to pace yourself and actually ENJOY YOUR MEAL.

    1. Put a fork full of food in your mouth and enjoy it!
    2. Put your fork down as you chew.
    3. Finish your bite completely.
    4. Then pick up your fork and continue.

    Sound silly? It will slow you down and help you to actually enjoy the meal. The pace will help your stomach and brain catch up with each other and give you that FULL sensation.

    Stop Grazing!

    NO FOOD AFTER 8:00

    The last tip is to cut yourself off at the end of your day. Above I stated 8:00p but that can flex based on when you go to bed. The idea is to stop that late night grazing.

  • Stay off your scale.
  • Cut yourself some slack...if you cheat on a step, take that moment to start again!
