How to Make Sequin Flowers

Disk shaped plastic beads available in different geometric shapes and colors, sequins are commonly used on clothing , jewelery and bags. Sequins are a craze not only now but ever since they have been first used in Turkish, Venetian, French and Arabic cultures.

Following are the steps to make sequin flowers

Things You'll Need:

• 3 pack of various color sequins
• 6 large rhinestones for centers
• 1 Card paper sheet
• 1 soft decorative silver color wire bundle for making stem
• 1 Nose plyer
• 1 green sticky paper tape
• A pair of Scissors
• 1 Glue or adhesive paste
• 1 flower vase

1. 
    
   Card paper

   Take one card paper sheet

2. 
    
   Traced flower for sequins

   Trace heart shaped petals on the card paper. And make a flower shape on it.

   Stick your sequins onto the sticky side so
   that they touch, side to side. You should cover the entire surface of the acetate so that it is completely covered.

   Crystal rhinestone per flower center

   Stick one crystal rhinestone at the center of each flower using a glue or adhesive.

   Now take a silver soft wire and cut a 4 inch long piece of the same wire with the help of scissors.

   Make a loop

   Using the round-nose pliers, hold the wire approximately half an inch (1.5 cm) from the end and make a 3/4 turn loop so that the end of the wire is away from you. Insert the wire at the center so that it now will become a part of the flower.

   Wind the green paper tape on the wire that extends down from the center of the flower.This will be the stem of the flower.

   Now make such 5 more flowers in an identical manner. Arrange the sequin flowers now in a nice decorative flower vase.
   So are the sequin flowers ready now for display!

• Using green tape to cover the wired stem would enhance the sequin flowers
