How to Put Eye Drops In Your Dogs Eyes

Did your vet give your furry friend eye drops? This is simple instructions on how to administer the eye drops into the dogs eyes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Dog
• Eye Drops

1. 
    

   Clean the area around the eyes, wiping away all debris or discharge with a moistened wash rag or cotton pad.

2. 
    

   Gently restrain your dog and hold the eye open, bringing your hand to the eye from above and behind so as not to scare the dog.

3. 
    

   Squeese the right number of drops onto the eye and allow the eye to bathe in the medication.

Tips & Warnings

• Always continue treatment for as long as directed.
• Be careful not to touch the dogs eye with the bottle. This can not only injure your dogs eye but contaminate the bottle.
