Things You'll Need:
- Open mind to learn
-
Step 1
Take control, be responsible. Women are often raised to let their destiny be controlled by their parents (especially the father) and when they're married they are once again controlled by their husband. However, in the generation women are offered equality. They can choose to be independent, especially financially independent if they wish. So be the master of your destiny without relying on your father, boyfriend, or husband.
-
Step 2
Discover your authentic self. Do not grow up blindly accepting the role you were conditioned by others to fulfill. You are to decide who you want to be and how to live your life. So don't let anyone pressure you to be something you're not.
-
Step 3
Speak the truth about what's going on inside of you or what's on your mind. You deserve to be heard. If others react negatively, that's their problem. Quit dropping hints, as many people (especially men) don't usually understand them. If you don't speak up for yourself, then who will?
-
Step 4
Take care of yourself well. Most women nowadays are trying so hard to please men and/or compete with other women that they would do anything, even hurt their own body. They'll starve to death just to lose some weight or go through dangerous surgeries to fix their appearances. However, if you want to look better just eat properly, sleep properly, and exercise. Remember that beauty is within, do not seek it without.
-
Step 5
Be understanding, especially to those tough to understand (men). Women usually nag (criticize or complain going in circles) the man and not give him a moment of peace. This is something men really hate. Instead, try to understand him & the situation first before starting to speak. And when speaking make sure to be clear, direct, and to the point.
