Sign up with restaurants and other places for some great free stuff on your birthday!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • an email address
  • a printer
  • a large mailbox to receive your free stuff!
  1. Step 1

Check places you frequent, such as restaurants, to see if they have a web site that offers a birthday club or email club that you can sign up for. Many times places will offer free stuff on your birthday for signing up. You will usually have to agree to receive ongoing emails in order to receive the offers. Some send additional coupons and promotions throughout the year in addition to the free birthday items.

Instead of online, some places may have you sign up in person, so always check.

  2. Step 2

Once you've checked with places you already know, do a basic online search using terms such as "free birthday offer", "free birthday club", "free on your birthday" etc. This will bring up several results which you can check out. A majority of these will likely be restaurant free food birthday offers, but there are a few other businesses that give other stuff as well.

  3. Step 3

You may want to set up a free separate email account for just the purpose of receiving free birthday stuff emails. You can set up a free email account with Hotmail, Google, Yahoo etc.

  4. Step 4

Be sure to sign up for the birthday offers ahead of time, as it may take awhile for the companies to process the information. Some of the offers will be sent to you in the form of coupons by standard mail, while others will be coupons sent by email which you will be required to print out.

  5. Step 5

Check with other local businesses such as tanning salons, golf courses, bowling alleys etc. as many will give you free stuff on your birthday as well, and may only require you to show ID. It never hurts to ask!

Some places require you to use the free offer on your actual birthday, while others will allow you to come in the week of your birthday, etc. Check with each place individually for the details.

  6. Step 6

See the "Resources" section below for examples of over 100 free stuff birthday offers you can sign up for online.

(These resources are updated frequently. New offers are added as found and expired ones are deleted, so check back often!)

Tips & Warnings
  • Be sure to check with specific restaurants in your area to make sure they are participating. Companies may discontinue offers at any time. Bring ID as verification may be required.

on 6/19/2009 This is great! I actually did this last year on my birthday. I didn't have any official plans so I joined a bunch of birthday clubs and went on an adventure to see how much free stuff I could get. Added tip: you can walk into some establishments on your birthday and just show your ID. They will also give you freebies or major discounts even if they don't have an established birthday club special. 5*
