Things You'll Need:
- 1 jar of sloppy joe sauce
- 1 pkg of raw spicy sausage
- 1 pkg of hamburger buns
- stove
- frying pan
-
Step 1
Cook the spicy hot sausage thoroughly in a frying pan on the stovetop.
I personally use Bob Evans Zesty Hot Sausage. Make sure there is enough room in the pan to add the sauce later on. Break the meat up into little pieces as it cooks. -
Step 2
Add the sloppy joe sauce to the spicy hot sausage.
Mix well, keeping the stove burner on as you stir the sauce with the sausage. My favorite sloppy joe sauce is Hormel Foods Not-So-Sloppy-Joe. It has a hearty flavor and is a lot less messier than other sloppy joe sauces I've tried in the past. -
Step 3
Turn off the stove burner and it's done!
Grab a hamburger bun, slather it with the spicy hot sloppy joe concoction, and enjoy. It's that simple! And don't forget to have a glass of water handy!

on 11/13/2008 A delicious and easy to mix meal, what could be better. This would work with vegetarian meat replacements too, for the vegetarians among us.
