Things You'll Need:
- 1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
- 1 32oz package confectioner's sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- assorted colored granulated sugar or crystals

Step 1
In medium bowl, beat condensed milk and half of the package of confectioner' s sugar until blended. Gradually add remaining confectioner' s sugar and peppermint extract, beating until stiff.

Shape mixture into 1/2 inch balls. Roll in desired colored sugar; place on parchment paper. Let stand 8 hours to set. Store covered at room temperature.

Step 3
You may instead want to dip uncoated mints in melted bittersweet chocolate. Simply place chocolate in a small microwavable bowl and heat for 60 seconds per oz.
