Do you have Kool-Aid stains marring your sparkling clean countertops? I certainly feel your pain. Here’s an easy, no-fuss guide to getting those Kool-Aid stains off your countertops.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Make a paste with three tbsp baking soda and one tbsp of water. For larger stains you may want to double or even triple this mixture.

  2. Step 2

Use a damp cloth to gently rub your paste into the stain.

  3. Step 3

Count to ten before wiping away the paste.

  4. Step 4

Repeat if necessary until the stain disappears (I’ve never had to do this more than twice).

  5. Step 5

    Rinse well with warm water.

Tips & Warnings
  • When you spill Kool-Aid on the counter (especially red Kool-Aid), try to get to it as quickly as possible. If you can get it wiped away fast enough (within a few minutes) it probably won’t stain at all.
