Nobody wants to be like this guy.
Nobody wants to be like this guy.

Nobody on the face of the planet likes being sick. Unless you're mentally disturbed. I hate it. Real bad. I'm a person that really makes an effort to stay germ free without going way too overboard in a Howard Hughes type of way. I'm no expert. But, I haven't had a common cold or flu in years. So, in this article I'll share some of my methods.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • hand sanitizer
  • antibacterial soap in the bathroom and shower
  • a watchful eye
  • vitamins
  • cranberry juice
  • orange juice
  • a little bit of willingness to exercise
  1. Step 1

First, it's important to always watch out for people who are sick. You obviously want to avoid those people. But, germs can be spread even if folks aren't sick.

  2. Step 2

Keep some hand sanitizer in your car and in your pocket if possible. After going into any place I'll always use some hand sanitizer when I get back to the car. Especially if you're in a grocery store and using a cart.. those things are ridden with germs.

  3. Step 3

Wash your hands after you use the bathroom. You have no idea how many times I've been in a public restroom and guys will finish their business and just walk out. Even at restaurants when some of them are going back to the table. That's absurd. And lazy. Always remember to wash up when you're using the bathroom. Please.

  4. Step 4

I'm not a total health conscious person.. I mean I like to be as healthy as possible. But, I still eat hamburgers... drink milkshakes... and don't exercise as much as I should. However, every morning I take a multi vitamin for men called "Mega Man by GNC". It provides me with all the vitamins I need and the crucial ones that help build up your immune system.

  5. Step 5

With the vitamin I'll drink a glass of cranberry juice. Cranberry juice has a natural antibiotic in it.. plus lots of vitamin c. Drinking a glass of orange juice here and there also helps build your immune system.

  6. Step 6

Exercise as much as you can. I don't have a lot of time and don't make enough time for exercise. But, atleast every other night I'll tackle some push ups and sit ups. Walking and jogging is also good for the immune system and overall health. Squeeze in as much of that kind of stuff as possible.

  7. Step 7

Try to eat as many vegetables as you possibly can. If you goto a restaurant and order a steak.. get some good veggies with it. You need that stuff and it helps your system stay strong.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't go overboard with the germ thing.. it can lead to many problems. Go see the film Aviator. You don't want to end up crapping in jars unable to face the outside world due to your fear or germs.
  • If you do get sick.. STAY HOME. Don't go out in public spreading your germs. Please. Don't be rude.
