A great addition to any meal and always a favorite for a barbeque potluck is Chinese Coleslaw.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Coleslaw:
  • 1 lb package of coleslaw mix
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds or nuts
  • 10 green onion tops, chopped
  • 2 packages of beef Ramen Noodles, dry
  • Dressing:
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 2 flavor packets from the Ramen Noodles
  1. Step 1

Combine the first five ingredients in a medium bowl or an old ice cream pail.

  2. Step 2

Break up the Ramen noodles into small pieces and add to the nut mixture. Reserve the seasoning packets for the dressing.

  3. Step 3

Combine the dressing ingredients in a small bowl.

  4. Step 4

Spoon over the nut mixture. Mix well.

  5. Step 5

Refridgerate for twenty-four hours prior to serving.

Tips & Warnings
  • The refridgerator time is important for the ramen noodles to absorb the dressing and become soft.
