Instructions

    • 1

When you open a can of coffee for the first time, remove and save the silver seal that keeps it fresh. Collect these from cans of cocoa and other containers.

    • 2

Use the pull tab as the top. Start cutting from the side or bottom of the circle. Cut in a spiral from the outside to the center.

    • 3

Punch a hole in the tab part for hanging.

    • 4

Tie the silver spiral from a limb of the blueberry bush. Use a twist tie or garden tie or string to attach it. There it will blow in the breeze. The light reflecting on the silver and the movement is what deters the birds.

Tips & Warnings

  • It may take several of these for a large blueberry bush.
