Things You'll Need:

  • Beeswax sheets

  • Colored cord
  1. Step 1

Lay a sheet of beeswax on a cookie sheet.

  2. Step 2

Soften the wax with the heat from a blow dryer. Use low heat. Don't hold it too closely to the sheet.

Cut out about 4 to 6 snowflake shapes with the cookie cutters. How many shapes you cut out depends on the thickness you desire for your snowflake.

  4. Step 4

Place 2 to 3 shapes together.

  5. Step 5

Adhere the shapes together by applying low heat from the blow dryer.

  6. Step 6

Gently press the shapes together to hold.

  7. Step 7

Make a loop from the cord.

  8. Step 8

Place the loose ends of the looped cord on top of the snowflake shape.

  9. Step 9

Add 2 to 3 more layers on top of the first snowflake. Make sure the cord is in between the layers.

  10. Step 10

Apply heat from the blow dryer to the stack of shapes you are adhering together.

  11. Step 11

Gently press together. This forms the snowflake ornament.
