Things You'll Need:
- Entergy Bill
-
Step 1
Access Entergy’s website (see Resources below). When browsing you will find several resources available. The website has a storm center that displays the company's progress on storm outage restoration. It also lists several facts to help you understand how electricity distribution works. There are links you can select that tell how power gets to your home, and safety tips and regulations. To pay your bill, click on the “My Account Online View/Pay Bill” link.
-
Step 2
Register your account. Click on “New User Registration” to begin registering your account. The registration form requires that you enter your account number as part of the information, so make sure to have your Entergy bill on hand. You will also need to enter a user name and password as well as your email address and basic account information, such as name, home address and telephone number. When all of the requested information is entered, click “Submit.”
-
Step 3
Sign in to your account. Once you have registered your new account, simply enter your user name and password to sign in. It is necessary to log in before you can pay your bill, so make sure you have your user name and password available. If you forget what your user name is you can select the “Forgot User ID?” link and enter your email address and account number. Your user ID will then be forwarded to your email account. If you forget your password, you can request help by clicking on “Password Hint” and follow the same steps listed above for the user ID.
-
Step 4
Review the account details. When you have accessed your account, you will find an online listing of your account details. From the details screen you can add accounts, change bank information and change your password. You can view billing and payment history, set up automatic monthly payments, and also select the delivery options you prefer for your bill. When you select the “Delivery Options” link you can choose to have your bill sent by email notification only, paper bill only, or you can choose to receive both. Under "Account Details," the total amount billed will be listed along with the billing date and due date.
-
Step 5
Pay your bill. Paying your electric bill online is a relatively simple process. While logged on to your account, click on the “Pay My Bill” link. You can select to pay with a bank account or to pay with a credit or debit card. To pay your bill with a bank account, enter the amount you want to pay, your checking account information, and click the “Continue” button. Don’t forget to read the “Online Bill Payment Terms and Conditions." You can also pay with a credit or debit card through "Bill Matrix," but you will be assessed a charge for this option.
