How to Use Rare Minerals for Skin Care

The ever-popular Bare Escentuals mineral skin care and cosmetics line continues to add valuable new products to its inventory. Recently, BE added a new skin care line called Rare Minerals. Unlike other similar products that either cleanse or treat the skin, Rare Minerals accomplishes both. The line features a gentle exfoliating cleanser, a blemish therapy and a product that nourishes and revives the skin overnight, while you sleep.

Instructions

1. Purchase a Rare Minerals kit or the individual products of choice. Choose the color of Rare Minerals Skin Reviving Treatment that most closely matches the skin on which the products will be used.

2. Prepare for application of the mineral-based cleanser. Begin by dampening the skin with warm water. Next, put about a nickel-sized drop of the cleansing powder into the palm of one hand. If needed, add a few more drops of water in order to create a foaming lather.

3. Apply the cleanser to the facial area. Rub the cleanser gently into the skin using upward and circular motions. Be sure that the product is evenly distributed in order for it to thoroughly exfoliate the skin. Be careful around the delicate eye area. Let the product sit on the skin for no more than 10 to 15 seconds.

4. Rinse the cleanser off of the skin with warm to cool water. Be sure to remove all of the product. Pat the skin dry with a soft terrycloth or paper towel.

5. Apply Rare Minerals Skin Blemish Therapy, if needed. The product comes with its own perfectly designed brush for dipping and applying the product directly to all acne scars, blackheads or other blemishes.

6. Activate the Rare Minerals Skin Reviving Treatment. The product comes with its own application sponge. To activate it, flip the jar over and tap on the bottom to loosen the powder and make it run into the sponge applicator. Remove the lid. Once the color product can be seen on the white sponge, it is ready to use.

7. Buff the Rare Minerals Skin Reviving Treatment into the skin, using gentle upward and circular swirls. Since the product is slightly tinted with color, it is easy to see when it has been applied all over the skin.

8. Close and tightly secure the treatment once application is complete so that airborne bacteria won’t taint the minerals.
