Things You'll Need:
- 2 small puzzle pieces
- 1 larger puzzle piece
- Hot glue sticks
- Hot glue gun
- Brown craft paint
- Paintbrush
- Small red pom pom or button
- 2 small wiggly craft eyes
- Red ribbon (optional)
- Sprig of fake holly (optional)
- Magnet pieces
- Pin back (optional)
-
Step 1
Choose three puzzle pieces for this craft. You need one large and two small puzzle pieces. Puzzles with a smaller amount of pieces will have larger puzzle pieces, and puzzles with 500 or more pieces will have tiny pieces. Choose pieces that are rectangular in shape, not the ones that are edge pieces to the puzzle.
-
Step 2
Paint both sides of each puzzle piece with brown craft paint and let them dry completely before moving onto the next step.
-
Step 3
Lay the large puzzle piece lengthwise on a flat surface.
-
Step 4
Turn the small puzzle pieces so that they are in a vertical or straight up and down direction and use hot glue to attach one to each end of the large puzzle piece. The large puzzle piece is serving as your reindeer's head, and the two small pieces are the reindeer's antlers.
-
Step 5
Hot glue the two wiggly craft eyes to the front of the large puzzle piece.
-
Step 6
Use glue to attach the red pom pom or a red button to the bottom of the large puzzle piece as a reindeer's nose.
-
Step 7
Apply a magnet piece to the back of the puzzle piece reindeer with hot glue and hang it up on the fridge in your home. Visit the Resource below for more unique Christmas crafts.
