Things You'll Need:
- Mozilla Firefox Browser (any version)

Step 1
Go to the Tab Mix Plus official website (see Resources) and download the latest version of the software. Once you download the software, Firefox will automatically install it into your add-on folder.

Restart Firefox. Once it is running again you will notice that your tabs look a little different due to the Tab Mix Plus.

Go to the tools button on the menu and select "Tab Mix Plus" options from the pull down menu. A pop-up menu will come up that shows all the default preferences.

Open the links tab. This sets your basic tab preferences. From here you can set how your browser will display website and download links in tabs.

Click over to the events tab. There are five sub tabs which manage individual features like tab merging and the Tab Undo function, which allows you to reopen previously closed tabs.

Select the Display Tab. This allows you to set preferences in regards to tab overflow and whether tab mode engages automatically.

Skip the mouse tab and go to the menu tab. This will allow you to check (or uncheck) several miscellaneous options like when and where to reload certain tabs.
