How to Celebrate Halloween on Staten Island

No one ever said Halloween was just for kids. In Staten Island, the borough just south of Manhattan in New York City, there are plenty of fun events on Halloween night and throughout the entire month of October that the whole family can enjoy. From historic towns to zoos and museums, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the spookiest of holidays in Staten Island.

1. Take a stroll through historic Richmond Town. Celebrate Halloween with trick-or-treating, games, costumes and more. Tickets are required and families are welcome. 2. Go to the Annual Zoo Spooktacular at the Staten Island Zoo. This event is perfect for the animal-loving family, as it offers Halloween games, trick-or-treating and more. 3. Visit the Staten Island Children’s Museum. Kids and adults are invited to dress up in not-too-scary costumes, play games and eat candy. Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
