Step 1
Place your mouse pointer over a key on the visual keyboard. Notice that the key is numbered. To see what function the key is currently assigned to, allow your mouse pointer to hover over the key. A pop-up displays what the key is attributed to.

Left-click the mouse pointer on a key you wish to change.

Click on Choose New Remapping from the drop-down menu.

Select Remap Key from the Control area on the interface. You may also opt to disable or enable the key, and reset the default for this key.

Left-click Apply. Look at the list box at the top-left of the interface, labeled “Remapped keys currently in effect.” Ensure that the keyor keys you selected are listed in this list box.

Step 6
Fix a mistake by resetting the defaults. Click on the top button adjacent to the list box you just visited. Pressing this button will remove all the changes to your keyboard mapping.
