How to Clean Foreskin on an Intact Penis

The number of parents electing to leave the foreskin intact on their infant sons has increased in the last 10 years. Whether left intact for religious or other reasons, the foreskin needs be cleaned. In this article, you will learn how to clean a penis that still has the foreskin intact.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Warm Water
  • Soap
  • Towel
  1. Step 1

    Push the foreskin back gently. Anywhere from the age of 3 to 6, the foreskin should be loose enough to retract from the head of the penis.

  2. Step 2

    Wash gently with warm water and soap. If there is any place that is open on the foreskin, just use water to wash.

  3. Step 3

    Pat dry as you would when you've finished bathing or showering any other body part.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't force the foreskin back--doing so may cause tearing, resulting in infection and scar tissue.
