Compaq's 1400P color inkjet printer is an excellent choice for everyday document printing needs. Because it is designed with a CompactFlash slot it is also capable of printing high resolution digital photos directly from a variety of memory cards without the use of a computer. Installation is easy thanks to the USB connection and the included software automatically checks online for updates which it installs by itself. The printer uses a two ink cartridge system consisting of a black ink cartridge and a tri-color ink cartridge. The printer comes complete with both cartridges.
