How to Find the Key to the Animal Ark's Locked Door in Castle Crashers

Castle Crashers is an Xbox Live Arcade game of the “beat ‘em up” genre. To complete the Animal Handler achievement for the game, you have to find all the animal orbs. One animal is hidden behind the animal ark’s locked door, which can be accessed only with a key.

Instructions

1. Acquire the Cardinal animal orb. You can find the Cardinal during your battle with a brute in the Industrial Castle level. If you already have the Cardinal, go the Blacksmith level and grab the Cardinal from the animal ark.

2. Go to the Full Moon level. Defeat the waves of enemies and avoid being crushed by the falling rocks to reach the mountain trail you must scale.

3. Go to the second hut on the mountain trail. When you reach the second hut on the mountain trail, the Cardinal will retrieve a weapon for you. Pick it up by pressing the “X” button, and the Blacksmith will appear at the bottom of the screen indicating that you have found the key sword. Finish the level or exit to the map and go to the Blacksmith level.

4. Use the key to open the door in the animal ark. Walk inside the animal ark and walk to the rear to the locked door. Attack the door using your light or heavy attacks to destroy the door. Once you walk inside, you will find the Beholder animal orb, which adds 2 points to your magic skill.

Tips & Warnings

• If you changed back to your original weapon after picking up the key, you need to go inside the frog in the Blacksmith level to select the key as your weapon before going inside the animal ark.
