Things You'll Need:
- Punk style clothing shards
- Boots
- Mohawk
- Spray paint
- Array of metal and jagged adornments
-
Step 1
Build the base. Start the snowman as any other. Roll three balls of snow--one large, one medium and one small--all packed firmly. Pile the largest on the bottom, with the medium one in the middle and the smallest on top as his head. If you need help getting them to stay in place, add a little water between the snowballs so they freeze together.
-
Step 2
Create a menacing face. Use tennis ball pierced with old jewelry or spikes as his nose. Make one eye out of a metal shard, the other from a ragged rock. Get a jagged stick and jam it sideways on his face for a sneering mouth.
-
Step 3
Make a Mohawk. Cut the sweeping end of an old broom, find an old strip of fur or a series of sticks to use as the hair strip down the middle of his head. Gouge a small trench in the center of his head and insert the Mohawk. Pile snow and a little water on either side of the Mohawk to keep it in place.
-
Step 4
Dress him in punk rock style. You may not want him to don your leather jacket (although that would make a great touch), but you can find other punk rock clothing. Drape his shoulders in a cut-up plaid shirt. Bury a pair of old motorcycle boots at his base so they stick out as his feet. Throw on a ripped up T-shirt or a skull bandana as his scarf. Add little skull heads or jagged rocks as buttons down his front.
-
Step 5
Give him punk rock adornments. Here’s where you drape the chains, studded belts and other paraphernalia on your snowman. If the adornments refuse to stay in place, stick sticks or metal stakes in his body so they can be attached.
-
Step 6
Finish him off with spray paint. Get a can of black or other dark color spray paint and spray him with a little graffiti. Good options include an anarchy symbol on his belly, a skull on his bottom and random tagging around his base. Add a color to the bald sides of his head on either side of the Mohawk.
