How to Get Red XIII's Best Limit Break in "Final Fantasy 7"

The characters in the Playstation role-playing game "Final Fantasy 7" are able to use special attacks called Limit Breaks after they have taken a large amount of damage during combat. Most of these Limit Breaks are gained by fighting enemies, but the most powerful can only be acquired by finding certain items. The best limit break for the character named Red XIII is found inside a locked safe in the town called Nibelheim.

Things You'll Need

• Final Fantasy 7 PS1 Game
• Playstation Game Console

Instructions

1. 

   Play through the game until the party reaches the town called NIbelheim.

2. Go inside the large mansion at the center of town and fight the various monsters inside until you reach a locked metal safe.

3. 

   Examine the safe to start a small mini-game where you have to input the correct code combination to open the lock.

4. 

   Input the code combination for the safe, which is right 36, left 10, right 59, and then right 97. After you enter the combination you will have to fight a monster called "Lost Number" which will pop out of the safe.

5. 

   Defeat Lost Number in combat, and then take the item inside called "Cosmo Memory." Use Cosmo Memory on Red XIII and he will gain his best Limit Break.

Tips & Warnings

• Red XIII can't use Cosmo Memory until he has learned all of the earlier limit breaks by fighting in random battles.
