Add in the ears with small triangles. Divide the facial circle about two-thirds of the way down with a horizontal line. This will create the mouth and lower face section. Add a small oval in the center of this section for the nose. Above this, add a mask shaped like two hills for the eyes. Around the head, add a flame shape. This will be the spiked up hair of Super Sonic and you'll divide off the spikes later. Next, draw two small shark fin shapes near the side of the head. Finally, add a shark fin shape from the base of the torso for Super Sonic's tail.

Divide the flame shape into five different spiked sections. Inside the eye area add two small "U" shapes, connected to the top of the eye shape for the pupils of Sonic's eyes. Now block out the torso, arms and legs by using the guidelines to add solid shapes. Inside the torso, place a small oval for the part of Super Sonic's chest that does not have fur. Add stripes to Super Sonic's shoes.

Trace around what you have drawn with black ink, except any left over guidelines. Add in darker areas to the pupils and nose. Be sure to leave a little bit of white in the center of these as that will give the impression that light is being slightly reflected off the surface. Add a grimace to the mouth with a downturned line. A few broken parallel lines around the eyes and ears give Super Sonic and intense facial expression. You may darken around the socks and gloves to add some shadow. Also add thumbs with a small oval attached to the inner part of each fist. As a last step, carefully erase any pencil marks, leaving behind only the ink. This completed and inked Super Sonic is ready for display, or you can use some markers or colored pencils to color him in.
Tips & Warnings
Super Sonic is yellow, not blue like Sonic the Hedgehog.
