Peeling an egg can be a pain. Often times people find themselves tearing apart the egg in an effort to remove it from it's shell. Here are some tips to get a perfect looking egg.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Eggs
  • water
  1. Step 1

First of all, don't use fresh eggs if possible. Use eggs that you have had for at least seven days. This will help make them easier to peel.

  2. Step 2

Let the eggs warm to room temp and then place them in a pan to boil. Add cool water to the pan and put over a hot flame.

  3. Step 3

Once your eggs start to boil allow them to boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Allow the eggs to cool for several hours. Then put the heat back under the eggs and bring them back to a boil. Boil 1-2 minutes and then take off the heat.

  4. Step 4

You can then peel the eggs when they are cool. When you are peeling them you first crack the top and then the bottom. Then put the egg on it's side and roll it, gently cracking the egg all around. When you peel start from the bottom and work your way up. Make sure you are under the membrane this would make it easier to peel the eggs easily.
