How to Use Rubbing Alcohol as Deodorant
The aluminum in deodorant is rumored to cause a range of diseases from Alzheimer’s to breast cancer. In addition, heavy deodorant and anti-perspirant users can spend a tidy sum of money on these products. So instead, try rubbing alcohol to freshen your armpits. Bacteria causes the odor that we associate with armpits. Alcohol is an anti-bacterial agent and kills the odor-causing bacteria while having a drying effect, which helps prevent excessive sweating.

1
Put up to 15 drops of your favorite essential oil (or combination of oils if you want a custom scent) in the spray bottle.
-
2
Fill the bottle with rubbing alcohol.

After you shower or bathe, dry yourself completely. Spray the alcohol mixture under your arms. It will be very wet. However, alcohol doesn’t harm or stain clothing, so you can either let yourself dry and then get dressed or put your clothes on immediately. Alcohol dries so quickly that either option will be fine.

In the mornings, when you plan to be especially active, or whenever you are extra sweaty, simply reapply.

Tips & Warnings
Try to find a spray bottle with the finest possible mist setting to help prevent excess wetness and waste when you apply your deodorant.
Rubbing alcohol can cause a burning sensation or irritate the skin if you have sensitive skin. It's wise to avoid applying it immediately after shaving your armpits and to use caution when you first use this deodorant if your skin is extra sensitive.
There can be an adjustment time when you experience some body odor as your body detoxes and adjusts to the new routine.
Avoid spraying in your eyes; rubbing alcohol will cause them to sting and burn.
