How to Keep Head Lice Away With Tea Tree Oil
Pediculus humanus capitis, known as head lice, have been around since time began and are prolific in public places such as schools and anywhere there is a high concentration of people. Adult lice glue their eggs, called nits, to the base of the hair shaft and can't be removed through regular hair-washing. Lice feed on blood and make the head itch. Head lice are passed on through close contact and the sharing of hair brushes and combs, as lice crawl to get around. However, you can fight back at these pesky parasites with the help of tea tree oil, available at retail stores and health stores everywhere.
