How to Make a Hardcover Book From a Cereal Box
If you are planning to assemble a do-it-yourself book, you might not know that you can use really simple and inexpensive tools. These tools are things you most likely already have around your house. Instead of simply stapling a few sheets of paper together, make your book sturdier with a hard cover made out of a cereal box.

1
Gather your sheets of paper into segments made of 8 to 12 sheets.

2
Fold your segments in half vertically.

Mark along the fold where you want to punch your holes. Make sure these markings are the same for each of your segments.
-
4
Punch small holes along the fold of your segments.
-
5
Put all of your segments together in the order that you want your pages.
-
6
Cut your cereal box to your desired size. You may want the cover to be slightly larger than the page it contains. When measuring your cover, intend to fold your cover in half.
-
7
Fold your cereal box in half vertically.
