Things You'll Need:
- Water
- Parsley
-
Step 1
Take 1/2 cup of fresh, organic parsley and chop it up into a fine herb mix. Put the parsley into a small mixing bowl.
-
Step 2
Take a metal pot and add 1 cup of filtered or distilled water and put it on the stove. Heat the water until it is at a boil. Pour the boiling water over the parsley slowly. Allow the contents of the bowl to cool to room temperature. Do not try to accelerate the cooling process by putting it in the refrigerator. The water will now absorb the healing properties found in the parsley itself.
-
Step 3
Take the jar and begin to strain the contents of the bowl into the jar. Be careful to just get the water into the jar. Use a very fine strainer to catch all the small parsley particles. Try straining the water more than once to get out the extra parsley. Make sure the jar has a tight lid, and apply it once it is filled with the water.

Step 4
When using the toner apply a conservative amount to a cotton bowl or soft cloth. Use just enough to lightly saturate the material you are using. Wash you face before using, then use it on areas that need deep cleaning or the removal of residue from industrial toxins or makeup.
-
Step 5
If you are storing the toner in a cool place, such as a refrigerator, you can do so for up to 3 weeks. Make sure that the refrigerator’s temperature is not set too low because the toner is predominantly water and will freeze or frost over. If you are keeping it in a moist and warm environment, like a bathroom, you can keep it for 2 weeks before it has problems with freshness. Try using this toner every day for optimum results. You should not have problems with skin damage since this is not an alcohol-based toner.
