Things You'll Need:
- A spray bottle
- Drugstore rubbing alcohol
-
Step 1
I learned this years ago in a small florist shop in California. Once you use it, you will never be without it.
-
Step 2
Make a mixture of 40% rubbing alcohol and 60% tap water in a spray bottle. Then give each of your house plants a good spritzing, even on the underside of the leaves. Do this every 3-4 weeks. The plants love it, and it will discourage pests and disease on virtually any plant.
-
Step 3
As an added bonus....this is the best glass cleaner you will ever need. Streakless mirrors and window touch-ups are promised every time.

on 9/17/2008 My dad swore talking to plants made them happy! All I know is we had great tomatoes every year! Good article.
I can believe rubbing alcohol is good for plants?
