Make Mummy Treats

Want to make a unique Halloween dessert? Here's a delicious (and somewhat spooky) recipe for Mummy Treats!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 8 Twinkies
  • 3/4 c. white frosting
  • 16 yellow M&M Minis
  • Red writing icing
  • 1 (6.4 oz) can white decorating icing w/ ribbon tip
  1. Step 1

You're on your way to making yummy Mummy Treats! First, cover Twinkies w/ the frosting.

  2. Step 2

Add M&M's for the Mummy Treats' eyes and make dots with the red writing icing for pupils on the eyes.

  3. Step 3

With the rigid side of the ribbon tip facing downwards, pipe decorating icing on to the Twinkies to make "bandages" for the Mummy Treats.

  4. Step 4

Cover until it's time to serve them. Enjoy these unique Mummy Treats!

on 10/2/2008 We're studying Egypt right now, so this treat would be fun to do just as a food craft! Great idea.
