Chrome is the new web browser launched by google.
although it provides almost all features of common browsers, its interface is a bit different and user may find it difficult to locate certain options like bookmarking, histroy etc.

this article tells you how to bookmark webpages in google chrome browser.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Google Chrome browser
  1. Step 1

    For marking a web page as favourite in chrome, first click on the star beside the address bar.

  2. Step 2
    click on the drop down menu to get the destinaion folders

    A drop down menu appears.
    Select the destination folder.
    If you select bookmark bar as the destiantion, the link appears on the bookmar bar just below the addressbar.
    If you select 'other book marks' the link will be added to the other book marks folder on the right corner of the book marks bar.

    if you want to organise your bookmarks into seperate folders, select the 'choose another folder' or click the 'edit' button. Then
    'edit bookmarks'window appears.

    Click on the new folder button, a new folder appears. Give it a name and click ok. the link to your favourite page is now saved in the folder.

Tips & Warnings
  • Put your frequently visited sites on your bookmark bar itself. it helps quick browsing.
  • Categorising your bookmarks into different folders always makes your brwosing very easy

on 9/29/2008 The title is misleading. This is, as stated in the article, how to bookmark a page. It is not "How to manage bookmarks", after you add them. Otherwise the article is helpful for those that haven't already figured out how to bookmark a page.
