How to Make a Tea Stained Dream Journal
If you want to make a dream journal that looks as whimsical as the dreams documented within its pages, creating a tea-stained effect is a great way to achieve this look. You can use the instant tea of your choice to create a look that will capture an antique quality that will beautifully house the journal of your dreams.
Instructions

1
Separate your journal pages by placing a sheet of wax paper between each page.
-
2
Brew tea as directed on the package.
-
-
3
Let the cool. If you use the tea while it is too hot, you might need to use foil between your journal pages.
-
4
Dip a paintbrush into your tea and paint the pages of your journal as you would with regular paint. Add more tea to areas that you want to look more aged.
-
5
For an all-over aged effect, fill a shallow lasagna pan with tea. Dip your individual journal pages into the bowl.
-
6
Let your journal dry fully. Wet paper has the tendency to rip, so you want to let it fully dry before applying more tea or writing in the pages.
-
7
Repeat the entire process for a darker effect.
-
8
Once your journal is dry, delineate the pages to contain the information for your dream journal. Separate each page to provide a place for the date, a description of the dream, important symbols in the dream, people in the dream and an analysis of what the dream might mean to you.
