Razor burn can be very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Here are some tips to help soothe and prevent razor burn.

  2. Step 2

Always use a sharp razor when shaving. Dull razors play a huge factor in creating razor burn and can be quite dangerous when used.

  3. Step 3

Exfoliate your skin before shaving. This will help guide the blade better and will get rid of all of the dead skin left on your body.

  4. Step 4

Shave in the direction of the hair growth. Don't shave against!!!!

  5. Step 5

Try not to shave in the same spot more than once if possible. This will create razor burn most definitely.

  6. Step 6

Try not to remain in the bath for too long while shaving, as your skin will wrinkle up from the water and cause discomfort shaving. This leads to razor burn.
