Step 1
Apply aloe vera to the razor burn. It will help soothe it and decrease the amount of redness.
-
Step 2
Always use a sharp razor when shaving. Dull razors play a huge factor in creating razor burn and can be quite dangerous when used.
-
Step 3
Exfoliate your skin before shaving. This will help guide the blade better and will get rid of all of the dead skin left on your body.
-
Step 4
Shave in the direction of the hair growth. Don't shave against!!!!
-
Step 5
Try not to shave in the same spot more than once if possible. This will create razor burn most definitely.
-
Step 6
Try not to remain in the bath for too long while shaving, as your skin will wrinkle up from the water and cause discomfort shaving. This leads to razor burn.
-
Step 7
Never scratch at an area that has razor burn. This will irritate it even more!!!
-
Step 8
Always make sure the area to be shaved is well moisturized with shaving cream or gel... Do not dry shave!!!!!!!
