Things You'll Need:
- Your sizes, have someone measure every part of your body in the event that you find the dress that you want from online where you would not be able to try it on. Jot this info down in your wedding no
-
Step 1
Choose your best and most favorite feature and then follow the steps below according to your body type:
LEGS- You will need to find a dress that is shorter in length or that has a tall split on one side. Convertible dresses are also a great idea because you can remove the full skirt after the ceremony and show off you legs with a pretty reception dress.
SHOULDERS- Look for a Portrait neck or a halter top, even a tube top style will show of your shoulders beautiful and will allow you space to add a nice body bronze or powder to show off the area even more
BACK- you must be daring to go fully backless but a halter top shows off your back well
DECOLLETAGE- and empire waist or a plunging V-neckline is gorgeous
CURVES- a triumphant style skirt, or a fit -n- flare will flatter your figure. Stay away a full ball gown style or an empire waist, these styles may make those curves blend in with the dress and will not be so flattering
SMALL WAIST- full gowns and a pleated waist will draw attention to a smaller waist make you look long and slender. -
Step 2
After you have found the style of dress that you are looking for. You then should look through the wedding magazine and find a general design that you like as well as a second and third choice design.
You may not be able to find the exact style of the dress and if you cant find it you may spend more time and money looking for this one design so its better to have options that you would be satisfied with. -
Step 3
Look at local stores in your area, local boutiques, or world wide stores often have sales that are seasonal and 99.00 dollar sales like Davids Bridal. These websites are also great they have a lot of designs that are for great prices and they do have a lot of replica designs for low prices.
Some websites have basic designs that you can order and have a seamstress had detail too or custom to fit.
