You may have made haystacks in the past, but here's a little twist. Try needles in the haystacks. This is a quick, easy, and most of all fun recipe for your kids to make. It's great for fall or Halloween celebrations.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bag of Chinese crispy noodles
  • 1 bag of butterscotch chips
  • 1 bag of candy corn
  1. Step 1

    In a double boiler or in a glass bowl in the microwave, melt the bag of butterscotch chips.

  2. Step 2

    Place the bag of crispy Chinese Chow Mein noodles into a large bowl.
    Pour the melted chips over the noodles and stir to thoroughly coat.

  3. Step 3

    Spoon large spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment paper covered cookie sheet. Put a candy corn "needle" into each haystack. Allow to set.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can use peanut butter or chocolate chips in place of butterscotch if you like.
