Get Rid of Ghosts

I recently had a situation in my home by where my youngest daughter, 5 at the time, informed me she was enjoying her new "friends". Well most of them anyway, but there were some she did not because they tried to make her do things and they scared her. Out of my 6 children 4 of them have heard voices from the other side, and my youngest not only hears them but sees them as well. I have a Native American friend who taught me how to get rid of these "friends", scary or not. Please understand while I am not full blooded native American I do have some Cherokee in me, I was not raised this way and my way of doing it may not be exactly correct ritual wise but it works.

They were apparently coming in through this mirror.

If you have not yet read my article on Intent, please go do so now because you need to do this with the intent that the "whatever" they are will leave; also with the intent that the herbs necessary will work. If your intent is not clear this may not work as well.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Herbs; Cedar from a Cedar Tree, White Sage, and Sweet Grass
  • Matches or a lighter
  • A fireproof receptacle to catch and receive ash and possible smoldering herbs
  • Kosher salt
  • If your herbs are loose and ground you may also need a charcoal like those used in hookah pipes, or you can use a small piece of wire screen to allow the air to circulate so the herbs can smolder.
  1. Step 1

If you have any quartz crystals, or other crystals you should gather them all up and submerge them into a basin of Kosher salt water to prevent the ghosts from entering the crystals and waiting it out.

  2. Step 2

With clear intent to protect yourself and any one else with you light the cedar, and blow the flame out so that it is smoldering, creating smoke. You want to have enough smoke to be able to lightly infuse it in all the rooms of the house, but not so much that you can't stand to be in there. If it is necessary you can carry the smoldering herbs from room to room in order to not leave any rooms for them to hide in. The Cedar is for preparing, cleaning and for protection.

  3. Step 3

The White Sage is next, following the same instructions for the cedar and using the proper intent. Sage is for serious cleaning.

  4. Step 4

Sweet Grass is used last, it's purpose is for bringing in positive energy to fill the house because where there is positive the negative can not be also.

  5. Step 5

After you have completed the ritual with the herbs you can, as an added measure use the kosher salt around the doors and the windows.

Tips & Warnings
  • Please do not allow children to play with fire!
  • Some people are allergic to sage, proceed with caution.
  • Sometimes, although I believe this to be rather rare, what you might have is not just a simple ghost. If for some reason you feel this may be the case please call in a professional.
