How to be a people builder

Every one of us has seeds of greatness on the inside. Many times we simply need someone else to stir them up by sharing an encouraging word. In fact, the Bible says to encourage one another daily. This means that we should always be looking around us to see who we can bless through our words. For many of us, we would not be where we are today if someone had not cheered us on and believed in us. Their simple encouragement impacted our lives and caused us to rise higher. But, not everyone has lived in a positive, uplifting environment. You may be the only person that can speak life into those around you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Look for potential in others.
Step2
Speak encouraging words to your friends, family and co-workers.
Step3
If you do, then lives will be changed through a simple, "You can do it. I believe in you."

Tips & Warnings

  • Make the effort to develop a habit of “pushing people up.” When you take time to invest in someone else it doesn’t go unnoticed. Every minute you encourage that friend, every mile you go out of your way to do a good deed, every penny you spend to make someone else better, know that God sees it. He’s not only going to pay you back, He’s going to multiply what you’ve sown. When you push people up, the blessings are going to come down!
