Write Someone a Sorority Rec for Pi Beta Phi

If you know someone going through sorority rush, you can help them out by writing them a letter of recommendation or a "rec". Follow these instructions if you were a Pi Phi.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • internet access
  • printer
  • stamps & an envelope
  1. Step 1

    Go to http://www.pibetaphi.org

  2. Step 2

    Click on "RIF Form" at the top of the page. "RIF" stands for Recruitment Information Form.

  3. Step 3

    Click on "RIF Form (PDF)" to download, then print it out.

  4. Step 4

    Click on the link just below the PDF file to obtain the relevant chapter's mailing information.

  5. Step 5
     

    Fill out the form and mail it in. Address it to the VP of Membership, who's name should be listed on the page with the chapter address.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can write RIFs for people you know as well as girl's you've never met
  • Write positive RIFs. If you can't recommend someone, simply decline to write one rather then sending in something negative.
  • Be sure to send your RIF in by the chapter's deadline
